Hi,
I have posted a requirement similar to this in my previous post.
Client two different business process
1)Market Place-they act only as facilitator, where customer places for order and material will be supplied by vendor will directly supply the material to customer, vendor himself bill the customer. He will pay my client a commission for using their web space.
This is my previous post on this
2)Customer places the order in online,if the material is available in my clients ware house he will directly supply the material and invoice to customer.
Here our scenario is ,customer places order in online,at the time placing the order he confirms the order by making 100% payment.Customer makes payment through credit card/debit card/cash cards. The payment will take time to realize in clients bank account.Once customer places the order number in online,an order number will be generated.
Sales to customer
As we dont have fixed customer any one can come and place for order through online.
So our customer will be one time customer.
A sales order will be created with PO number field as online order number.
Then delivery will be created.
After that invoice will be created.
My doubt is what accounting document is created after Invoice is created.?
Customer A/c Dr
Revenue A/c Cr
As payment is already made by customer, clearance account is not required against the one time customer? If not how to map this.
Sales Returns
What happens when customer returns the material, how the credit memo will be issued. If credit memo is issued in my clients SAP,then customer will be paid directly to their account associated with the card he have used during booking an order.Customer books for return order in online, return request ID will be generated.
Return Order--->Return Delivery---->Credit Memo
Return order will be created with respect to original invoice and in the PO number field return request ID have to keyed in .
My question can a credit memo will be created for the one time customer.
What will be the accounting document.
While making payment what accounting documents will be created.
Thanks,
Pradeep M
