Dear Experts,
We are using SAP 9.1 PL10 and we are facing the below issues with the UoM. Also, for this item we must use serial numbers.
We receiving our product (cables) in packages and we must count it in meters (i.e 1 package -> x meters).
Throught the general set up of SAP, we have already created the UoM of meters and packages and through the UoM of Groups we had done the definition that 1 package is x meters.
First Issue
The issue pops up when we are trying to create the Item in the purchase tab because we may purchase the item with different package sizes (different meters).
Do you have any advice of how could we handle it with only one item?
Second Issue
Example : Purcahsing of 1000meters of this item but in 3 packages with different meters and different serial numbers.
We are trying to figure out how we could import in one line in the purchase invoice but with different serial numbers and meters.
Do you have any advice how we could handle it?
