My clients are used to having a third-party EDI subsystem that connects with their trading partners (primarily Customers) and translates X12, EDIfact and VDA messages into a format for their legacy ERP system.
Is there a current diagram that illustrates the EDI data flow from Trading Partner or VAN through PO/PI to SAP Idocs?
I'm not clear enough on the necessary technology pieces from SAP to explain what is needed to replace an on-premise translator like Sterling Integrator or Seeburger.
