For 40ECC:
The first row of the table that is returned, denotes the employer
classification code, which is two characters wide. The second row is
the employer PAN, which can be a maximum of ten characters wide. The
third row returns the employer TAN, which can be a maximum of ten
characters wide. The fourth row returns the employer GIR number, which
can be a maximum of 20 characters wide. The fifth row returns the
employer PAO code, which has a maximum of 20 characters wide. The sixth
row returns the employer DDO code, which has a maximum of 20 characters
wide. The seventh row returns the employer PAO Registration, which has a
maximum of 7 characters wide. The eigth row returns the employer DDO
Registration, which has a maximum of 10 characters wide. The ninth row
returns the employer TAN Registration Number, which is a maximum of 12
characters wide.
Note: A particular value should not exceed its maximum length, for
example, in case of TAN, the total length should not be more than ten
characters.
For 40ACK:
There are four rows of output, one for each of the four quarters of the year. From the documentation:
Form 24Q e-File submission acknowledgement receipt number
You must maintain acknowledgement receipt number for all four
quaters of the financial year as - <Quater number>/<15 digit
number>, for example, 1/123456789012345
